I’m a writer, director, and standup comedian. Sometimes people call me Mikey. From here on out, I will refer to myself in the third person because that’s what you’re supposed to do on a website.

Born and raised in Delaware, Mikey Gleason spent much of his undergraduate studies at NYU's prestigious and pretentious film school trying to convince people that Delaware is not a district, but rather a full-fledge state. His work has appeared at several film festivals, on multiple websites, and also on television, most notably on Current TV. These days he splits his time between working a day job, making funny internet videos (not porn) and doing stand-up.

Mikey Gleason can be seen monthly as a writer/performer on The Monthly Hour at the Philly Improv Theater. He is the host of the West Chester Story Slam and also the co-host of the web show “A Couple of Idiots Live!! from Delaware.” Occasionally he is funny.
